My daughter and I enjoyed the Ivy + Bean series immensely and this was a fitting end. The characters stayed true to themselves and their ages throughout and the stakes were appropriate in every entry. Those stakes gently developed into sophisticated philosophical dilemmas without ever forgetting its audience.
