Home Sweet Motel (Welcome to Wonderland, #1)

Although my son felt the protagonist was "too cringe" - he's at a very special age where these things are conceivable and important - I thought the book was charming. The setting was fun (a Florida motel where the protagonist lives with his mother and grandfather) and the story's central problem was compelling and refreshingly realistic. I suppose we won't be reading any more of this series but I wouldn't have minded if we did.
