Die, Monster, Die!

Die, Monster, Die!

1965 · ★★½

October 2026 Horrors!!

Fun, if minor, movie seemingly destined for mid-day matinee programming rather than the main event though it probably deserves a little more respect.

Boris Karloff turns in a pro job as the cranky old man in a wheelchair and the rest of the cast members... are also in the movie. The big mystery is resolved with about 20 seconds of footage of someone's attempt to make a rubber monster display and that it looks so bad basically tracks the entire reason this isn't a very effective film (other than the fact that it is as deep as a puddle of water). It's just poorly made. There isn't much it can do to rescue itself from its own shoddiness.
