October 2026 Horrors!!

This is such a weird movie. Not so much coherent as it is a pastiche of clips of Santa Monica, Burt Young improv, and the occasional character getting swallowed into the sand. The pacing is off, the actors don't seem to be very clear on the context of each scene they're in, and the monster never gets a satisfying reveal. Still, I had a pretty good time. There's a duet in here, Fools for Each Other, that I LOVE now and there were enough random scenes between actors too good to be in this movie doing basically whatever they wanted to keep me entertained.
